EP 13: Rest Easy, Ben
Tuesday May 21, 2019
Tuesday May 21, 2019
This was a tough one to get through on many levels. Between the loss of Ben Raemers, remembering Mike Ternasky, and having 'Careless Whisper' stuck in my head for the past few days, my podcasting skills were put to the test this week. Also, find out which tracks I chose for a highly unlikely remix edit of the April Launch Video. Love you, guys.

EP 12: My War: Clive Dixon
Tuesday May 14, 2019
Tuesday May 14, 2019
Thanks for tuning in. It's been a full decade since we lost the late, great Tim "Beans" Brauch. He was a San Jose ripper who was probably one of the most humble and rad dudes I ever met. I discuss some of my interactions with him over the years, the Vans Combi Pool results, and break down the 8 minute and 26 seconds My War: Clive Dixon clip, but you'll be surprised who I thought stole the show in that video.

EP 11: X Games Real Street Competition Picks
Tuesday May 07, 2019
Tuesday May 07, 2019
This week I break down the X Games Real Street competition, #NationalDoAKickflipDay, share an awesome new female rider I have on my radar, and divulge my concern about my favorite skater of all-time having a Boosted board in his possession.
P.S. Noticed when editing that I seemed to have left out Corey Glick. I did have him in my notes, but must have had a brain fart. His trick @ :30 is what's up.
Thanks for listening and be sure to tell a stranger about the show!

EP 10: R.I.P. Pablo Ramirez AKA P-Spliff
Tuesday Apr 30, 2019
Tuesday Apr 30, 2019
Once again the skateboarding industry took a huge loss in the passing of Pablo Ramirez. He was a rare rider who gave it all, every time. 100% skateboarder to the core. Rest easy, P-Spliff. Andy Roy has an awesome podcast and I have a crazy thought about a potential skateboarding draft down the road. Yeah, I went there. Be sure to hit subscribe and be sure to leave a review if you're digging what's in your ears.

EP 09: Shane O'Neill is bad for Skateboarding
Tuesday Apr 23, 2019
Tuesday Apr 23, 2019
That's right, I said it. Shane O'Neill is bad for skateboarding. I break down why and how if nothing changes in the near future it will be extremely detrimental to the sport. Max Geronzi had me wanting to bust out with a Puma windbreaker and shout out to Josh Hanson (@joshhanson1) for his courage during a very difficult time in his life.

EP 08: Skate Photographers and Backyard Ramps
Tuesday Apr 16, 2019
Tuesday Apr 16, 2019
Today I talk about my love for legendary skate photographer, Grant Brittain's, work and how I will own at least 2 (or 9) of his pieces one day. Toss in some comments on pump ramps and my desire to have a mini ramp in my backyard again and you have the perfect combination for episode 08. EP 07: The Passing of Jake Phelps
Tuesday Apr 09, 2019
Tuesday Apr 09, 2019
I finally get around to talking about the huge loss skateboarding took in the passing of Jake Phelps. R.I.P. He was 100% skateboarder 24/7/365. I then do a quick recap of the Tommy Sandoval 'Nine Club Episode', discuss how Bucky Lasek is now a goofy footed rider and how I'd love to be one of Lincoln Ueda's shoes for just a day.

EP 06: Skateboarding has Officially Gotten Ridiculous
Tuesday Apr 02, 2019
Tuesday Apr 02, 2019
Welcome back. In this episode I talk about how insane skateboarding has gotten. With the amount of NDB and crazy tricks that have gone down as of late I question whether or not the sport has peaked in regards to its limits. We are living in the "Video Game Era" of skating in 2019. Then Bam Part 2. Boo Johnson had a plate date with L.A. and more. Follow @rickbata on Twitter and Instagram.

EP 05: Thrashin' is the Best Skate Movie Ever
Tuesday Mar 26, 2019
Tuesday Mar 26, 2019
In this episode I formally apologized to Jonah Hill. I also channeled my inner Siskel & Ebert (Google it, kids) and broke down a couple skateboarding movies. Gave a huge shout out to the fine folks at The Nine Club -- "The best thing to happen to skateboarding in a long, long time." and more. Visit www.nomongo.com for more info!

EP 04: Stop Using Your Board as a Weapon
Tuesday Mar 19, 2019
Tuesday Mar 19, 2019
On this episode I ended up talking about two different people named Dan. Dan Mancina who is an awesome skater who can keep up with all the latest tricks. Oh, and by the way he's 95% blind. A true inspiration. I then shift to a very unfortunate incident that occurred late 2018, but the ramifications of the event were life-changing. Dan Jansen is a security guard in San Francisco and was attacked by a pro skater who happened to use his board as a weapon.
